The 4th Survey of the Siebold Collection at the State Museum of Ethnology in Munich

Conducted by National Museum of Japanese History (Hidaka, "Munich Team")

Locations surveyed: State Museum of Ethnology in Munich (Munich, Germany)

Participants: Kaori Hidaka (NMJH), Kazuto Sawada (NMJH), Toru Katsuta (NMJH), Miki Sakuraba (NMJH), Moritoshi Sasaki (Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts)

In addition to continuing last year's ongoing survey (Hidaka) and photography (Katsuda) of lacquer ware and survey (Miki Sakuraba) of ceramic ware, the current visit was also used to survey and photograph textiles (Sawada), Buddhist sculpture and Buddhist-related materials (Sasaki) and ancient coins.
